Hello, It's Carambar & Co !

What do 14 legendary candy and chocolate brands do when they meet? Easy, they melt Carambar & Co!

The embodiment of French know-how , this new adventure is opening up the appetite of our team. Its mission, to make you smile, from morning to night! It is with this desire that our Carambarrés imagine and manufacture, on a daily basis, fun and delicious products. Discreetly, at the bend of a caramel break, it seems that some even imagine our next jokes .

Blois

“Everything you see around me was imagined by Jean Nouvel in the early 1990s. He redesigned the entire factory previously located in the heart of the city. Quite a challenge! So, I imagine you want to find out what is produced there? It’s simple, all you have to do is taste our range of chocolate powders and Poulain tablets, for breakfast and afternoon tea “.

Vichy

“The atmosphere is super family! We are 18 employees, so obviously we all know each other. This is surely what makes the difference in the job. We are all passionate about it. At least that is needed to produce the one and only Vichy pastille! By the way, I really invite you to visit the factory shop, it’s worth it “.

Saint-Genest

“No pun intended, we really don’t have time to ‘laze around’ in St Genest. We must indeed ensure the production of the brands Malabar, Kréma and La Pie qui Chante. It’s a challenge every day, but we really enjoy it. In a way, we are the experts in chews, baked candies, bubble gum and gummies! “

Strasbourg

“Proud of its history, this chocolate factory has existed for almost 100 years in the heart of the city of Strasbourg. Originally created by Poulain, it became Suchard in 1931. It’s like a big family, anchored in its territory for generations! Committed to a Sustainable Development process for more than 5 years, nestled in the countryside, this is a site where life is good.
But this factory is also resolutely heading towards the future. The arrival of Terry’s, our English brand, is a wonderful opportunity to invest in modern and innovative equipment. An incredible adventure to live, rare in a professional career! “

Marcq-en-Baroeul

” No kidding! The Carambar was born here in 1954 and has always been made in Marcq en Baroeul. Put together the Carambar produced annually would make it possible to circle the Earth twice! What a performance! Especially since our 150 employees also participate in the production of delicious Michoko and tasty Gom’s for a total of 10,000 tonnes per year ”.

The word of Caram'Boss

Carambar & Co is first of all a young company created in May 2017 whose ambitious project is to revitalize legendary brands such as Carambar, Poulain, Kréma, Michoko, Vichy and a few others; well-known, beloved, heritage brands, sometimes a little forgotten for some but which remind us all of our childhood and lovely memories.

We took our destiny in hand and made the daring choice to install 2 Research & amp; Development in Blois and Saint Genest and to relocate our production of sweets and chocolates in France.

It is a strong presence in our regions but also, already, in a dozen countries in Europe and beyond.

Carambar & Co These are also and above all teams that want to take the opposite view of many large international groups in terms of mindset, way of being and doing; we strive to leave the greatest possible freedom to our employees, the freedom to think, say, act. We like to work hard while having fun (or the other way around if you prefer), not taking ourselves seriously while showing professionalism and high standards. This is the “Carambar & Co attitude ”!

We cultivate respect for others, listening, benevolence and claiming ways of working closer to a start-up or an ETI made of agility, speed of reaction, risk-taking by assuming a right to error for everyone. Finally, we want to be strongly committed individually and collectively, responsible on environmental, health and ethical issues.
Carambar & Co It’s a bit of all that and a lot of other things. And the adventure has only just begun…
